Listening

Music plays a huge role in my life and it’s particularly important for my writing. I like all sorts of music (death metal excluded) but I especially dig love songs and for those who live in Melbourne, I used to listen to ‘Love Songs and Dedications’ with Richard Mercer #guiltypleasure.

I also develop playlists for each of my books to help me either get in the mood or focus on particular characters. This is the best way to get my mind in the game while annoying my neighbours.
